He is admitted to the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Marshall is a member of the Business Law, Litigation and Real Property Sections of the State Bar of California. He has extensive business, real estate and general civil litigation and trial experience, representing the interests of institutional and individual clients in both State and Federal Court; and has often handled complex, multi-party matters, representing the interests of, among others, large groups of investors in investment fraud litigation. He is also skilled in the handling of business and real estate transactional matters. Mr. Marshall lectures throughout Southern California on real estate brokerage law and practice.

- Personal InjuryMaria Manning obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California at San Diego, and graduated in 2005 from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California in the top twelve percent of her class. She had two children while in law school, passing the bar on her first try, and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2005. She joined our Firm in 2009 after four years of practice in San Francisco, where she represented plaintiffs in insurance coverage, tax fraud, personal injury and wrongful death matters. Ms. Manning handles a wide array of real estate and business litigation matters, with a focus on real estate agent and broker defense, commission claims and complex landlord/tenant matters. Ms. Manning prides herself on her excellent client skills. Responsive to their concerns and needs, she stays in close communication in order to keep her clients at ease and informed of the status of their matters. She is efficient, well-organized, and excels at time management, always with an eye toward resolution.

- ForeclosureChief Trial Counsel – prosecution of major banking/real estate matter involving American City Bank’s foreclosure of a twenty-four unit, luxury condominium project in Westwood. Trial lasted approximately one and a half months, resulting in a judgment in favor of our client, one of several defendants. Court found, as a matter of fact and law, that our client should be treated as a limited partner, even though he was designated in the operative limited partnership agreement as a general partner.
