We had moved to LA from the midwest last summer. Our number one priority was finding a nurturing, loving and learning environment for our 4-year-old son. After visiting other area options, I fell in love with S Cal Montessori and felt it would be a good fit. I couldn't have been more right. Our son has grown leaps and bounds this past year...which I felt was a fundamental year before he entered Kindergarten. When he started in July 2011 he could barely count to 20. Now as he enters Kindergarten 14 months later, he can count into the thousands, perform addition, subtraction, can spell, write...even READ! The teachers always put the interest of their students first and I cannot say enough wonderful things. As soon as our 2nd son is old enough, he will also attend S Cal Montessori! Our son has been in this school for 6 months now and we can truly say we love it! They are loving, caring and great on teaching them from the basics to social skills, they even were able to guide us as parents to solve some disciplinary problems we were not sure how to handle at home. Thank you!!!

Two of our kids have graduated from this school and went into kindergarten already reading. Another one will start this fall. I had looked at over 25 various daycares and preschools and when I came for a tour, I was sold. I am a teacher and probably like most parents very picky. The school provides a clean, safe, respectful, and loving environment for the children to learn. They have experienced teachers who care for each child. I don't know of any preschools that would heat the lunches individually for each child. I also liked that the director is also a classroom teacher and invested in the students.

Our son started in fall 2010 and he loves it! He is excited about going to school in the morning and talks about it when he comes home in the afternoon. We've seen him blossom from a timid toddler to a confident little boy. The teachers are WONDERFUL. They are so skilled at what they do and are so loving and supportive in how they teach. Our son is learning so much both academically and in terms of social skills. All of this and he loves it so much! He's also able to take piano, learn computer skills, yoga, gymnastics - all through this school. I have complete peace of mind when I leave him off in the morning. This school exceeds my expectations (and they were high). We love So. Cal Montessori!

This really is a great school. My son started here at 2.5yrs and has been here for 1 1/2 yrs. The teachers are fabulous and welcome my son with open arms daily, he is not even 4 and is trying to read basic words, he is learning daily life skills with cooperative play, how to handle himself in large social setting etc. I really love this place.

The best pre-school ever! I am so glad my friend recommended this school to me 9 years ago....I've been there ever since! Three out of my four children have graduated from this school. My 4th one will graduate in June 2011. The staff is excellent and provide the best care. They know each and every child and can tell you lots of stories about them each day. The children learn so much and always start public school knowing more than most kids. The extra activities that the school offers is a super plus....gymnastics, yoga, computer, piano....there is no need to drive your kids anywhere....they take care of it. I love this school!

We have been so happy with this school! My son was able to attend for a few months and he is still greeted with open arms anytime he visits. My daughter will have been at this school for 3 years and is more than ready for kindergarten. These teachers really get to know your children and love them all! There just aren't enough stars... Our second (and last) child will "graduate" soon, and we will be sorry to go. Our preschool provides the perfect balance of love, discipline, and academics that we were looking for. The teachers have been there forever, and I could leave my toddlers in their care with complete confidence. We love So Cal Montessori!

My son attended in 2006 at 2.5 years old till 5.5 yrs old. This is the MOST RESPECTFUL preschool in the USA. The teachers are very caring, loving, kind and have such an ability to bring the best out of each child. My son learned to read and write there and is currently breezing thru 1st grade. My daughter is also enrolled since 2009. Not only is education important but they are taught many skills about sharing and being kind to one another. I love that they offer a variety of other interests, piano, computer, yoga, gymnastics. Something for everyone. There is a wonderful community of parents to bond with. The children do many musical presentations for every holiday. The staff is 1st rate. My children never want to leave when we pick them up. What a great sign. Enroll your child now. I had them hold my spot when my son was 3 months old. Best decision I ever made, was to go here! My mind is always at ease. I never worry about them when they are with you all! THANKS STAFF!
