Sophia Ruiz is a Brentwood/Beach Cities certified personal trainer whose clients include a wide range of diverse individuals including celebrities and athletes. Sophia designs specific workout regimens based on the client’s health background, injuries and preferences. She is most recognized for her infectious positive personality and expertise in functioning training with lasting results.  Sophia has been committed for years to implementing her fitness background as a former Track & Field Heptathlete into her training.  Building a strong and well- rounded base of experience has been Sophia’s life long journey in order to better understand all the aspects of fitness.  “Understanding the pros and cons of fitness are very important. We are all different. Some of us suffer from injuries, hormonal issues, and inexperience, while others are well-defined athletes with a lot of experience. My goal has always been to be able to motivate and educate the beginner, intermediate and even advanced individual in the fitness world.â€Sophia’s diverse training methods are not only addictive, but become part of her client’s everyday lives. “I am clearly aware we are not all born to run, jump or be amazing athletes, but one thing I do know is that our body has more to do with our minds than we think. When we move, or brain is nourished. When we accomplish goals with our bodies, our brains release endorphins, which no money in the world can buy. Exercise centers our bodies and minds, and transfers positive energy into our careers and relationships, which is why living a healthy lifestyle is not only for you, but for everyone else around you!Training one’s mind is the key to success in any aspect, and I believe in never underestimating myself or anyone else. I live to show people that they have power and strength within their minds, and their bodies will do what they never thought possible. Tapping into a mind and breaking down barriers and doubt is what I live for. It is my goal to show anyone and everyone that set goals can and will be reached!
