Established in 1980, Sheridan Street Elementary is an educational institution that serves students in kindergarten through grade six. The school s core curriculum includes math, English, science and social studies. It also offers classes in art, music and physical education. Sheridan Street Elementary provides socio-emotional guidance and counseling services for gifted and talented students. The school also offers educational support services for students requiring additional assistance. In addition, it provides special education services for students with physical and developmental disabilities.
