The UCLA Department of Medicine-Internal Medicine is a group of clinicians, researchers and educators that advance the art and science of health care delivery. It supports both patient and physician participation in research projects on a variety of topics, including alcohol use, healthy aging and the quality of a primary care-specialist interactions. It provides primary care and health services fellowship program that is open to general internists, family physicians and pediatricians with emphasis on quality of care improvement measurement and implementation. It organizes seminars as well as provides education on heath care topics and is located in Los Angeles.
