Raleigh commenced operations in 1955 as a general contractor and developer. Over time, its focus shifted to the development, management and operation of significant real estate based service businesses. These businesses include: high-rise and low-rise office buildings, luxury hotels, commercial shopping centers, movie and television studio complexes, industrial developments and residential apartments. Raleigh has also successfully developed condominium complexes and single-family residential estates. Lee Brevard Jewelry, another of Raleigh s ventures, has been an indispensable accessory for many of Hollywood's top stars. Raleigh Studios Manhattan Beach first opened for operations during 1998 and is now the largest operator of independent film studio facilities in North America. Raleigh Enterprises is comprised of a group of closely managed business operations and is headquartered in Santa Monica, Calif.
