The East LA Center offers educational and job and work skills training for at-risk young adults and school-aged youths. Located in Los Angeles, the center is a part of LA Conservation Corps, which serves more than 93,000 youths between the ages of 18 and 24. The parent organization s young adult program offers employment training, academic enrichment classes and personal counseling for over 3,600 young people. LA Conservation Corps operate a coastal science education center that provides free and low-cost programs for explorers of all ages. The parent organization also operates several charter school sites accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It provides an early childhood program that offers preschool for students between the ages of 3 and 5.
