Wonderful experience with Dr David Hemmati and Nurse Denise
David Cannon Registered dietitian was absolutely wonderful! Provided vital insights regarding the healthy overview program. Looking forward to joining the program!
At Kaiser, I was treated like a VIP. The whole experience was outstanding from check-in until the final release. Nurse Deja, like Deja Vu, took care of me with professional precision in care and prep for the multiple exams and shingles shot. Hussein, the phlebotomist, provided excellent service beginning with listening. He thought I should get the needle pic in my right arm but did it in my left arm as requested. I also told them the best way to give me a needle, and he did as I asked. Then there was the Prince of Physicians, Dr. William Murdoch Howell, MD. He entered my suite with a dapper hand-tied bowtie and an engaging personality that fit the tie.
I knew we would hit it off well, and he did not disappoint. Dr. Howell listened attentively to my reason for being there and developed a care plan that thoroughly addressed all possible causes of my pain. He walked me to “his sister from another mother,” she told me I had The best Dr. caring for me. She also processed me for an X-ray sonogram room. The technicians in both the sonogram and CIT scan were easy to engage and encouraging. They, too, made me feel like VIP.
I brought a book to read, anticipating a long wait time. But I never got to read it. The staff keeps me moving toward my final diagnosis. When we thought I might have a hernia. The surgeon used all the data collected and palpable tests of the area and declared no cause for surgery, and the final CIT confirmed her observation.
I even received VIP service in the pharmacy all along the journey. I was constantly informed about treatment because I was receiving test results in real time along with the physician. I had a five-star, first-class experience all day at Kaisat. Kaisar is not only thriving; they are flourishing from intake to exit and beyond. Keep Going!
At west LA kaiser I received excellent care from Dr. Prema and the nurses took very good care of me. He saw me in ER and even knew it was my birthday.
I arrived at 3:40pm. I was offered sanitizer as I stood and answered my questionnaire, I followed the arrows and was assisted by a wonderful woman at booth #1. She was able to update some missing information and help me book my 2nd appointment near my job. After checking in I was taken care of by Katherine in booth #1. Katherine calmly walked me through the steps of what we’ll be doing up to getting my 1st dose and what I’ll be doing afterwards. The process was no longer than 5 minutes. Katherine advised me medicine that would help and common symptoms I should feel if any. I only wish I could have had Katherine sitting and talk to me in the waiting area. Overall a safe and great experience. Plenty of space and chairs so you’re not sitting too close to anyone even though all chairs are spaced 6 feet apart from another.
Kaiser is #1 in cancer research, #1 in safety for their workers and patient care. Kaiser again Rates #1 in Medicare and new patient intake. Everyone knows the doctors are all on the cutting edge of technology and yet still keep with the old school bedside manner that keeps us feeling all warm and fuzzy. The Kaiser staff from the bottom level positions to the top management all appear to enjoy their jobs and you can tell by the warm smile your greeted with each time you visit one of the Kaiser Permanente Facilities.
