Established in 1989, Inner-City Arts is a visual and performing arts center that offers a range of educational programs. It offers art classes in more than 30 elementary schools. The center provides programs in visual arts, dance, drama, animation, music and ceramics. It is also a member of the Arts Community Partnership Network. The center s animation program includes classes in flipbooks, drawing on film, optical printing, and hand and puppet animation. Located in Los Angeles, its music curriculum includes vocal and instrumental classes. In addition, Inner-City Arts offers several after-school programs, as well as a professional development program for teacher s that includes training classes and workshops.
