First, I don't by any means wish to criticize the post below that is critical of Dr. Slate but he is a reconstruction surgeon, he does not perform mastectomies as the post claims and the surgical scars would have been caused by the general surgeon not by Dr. Slate as his involvement/specialty is only the reconstruction phase of breast surgery. Dr Slate performed a bilateral mastectomy last year. One breast had cancer the other was removed prophylactically. Dr. Slate is the best surgeon. He literally saved not just my breasts, but my life. I am forever grateful to have found such an experienced and caring doctor.
