I highly recommend Foot Hill Produce because they have very fresh, beautiful, high quality produce, much of it locally grown, at great prices (especially when you choose locally-grown produce at the peak of its season). They also have a very wide range of produce, so it's easy to discover new fruits and vegetables there. The staff members are very friendly & knowledgeable. They are always willing to take the time to tell you everything you want to know about a particular fruit or vegetable. On several occasions, they have given me cooking instructions and even recipes, which have always turned out delicious. It's right next door to the Trader Joe's in the same shopping center at the corner of Foothill Expressway and Homestead Road in Los Altos, just off the 280 freeway at the Foothill Expressway exit. Well worth a visit!
