Southland Credit Union, located in Downey, Calif., is a nonprofit, cooperative financial institution that is owned and controlled by its members. The credit union provides various privileges to its members, such as free Visa debit card, checking and investment accounts, online banking and bill payment, surcharge free ATMs, and more than 1,400 service centers locations. It also provides a variety of share and deposit accounts, including checking, savings, certificates of deposit and individual retirement accounts. The credit union disburses a wide range of loans for home improvement, mobile homes, new, used and classic automobiles, personal use, and boats and other recreational vehicles. Southland Credit Union also provides family membership, discounted warehouse club memberships, and amusement park discounts.
