ISO 9001:2008 provides a set of standardized requirements for a quality management system for the purpose of consistently satisfying customers' expectations. ISO 14001:2004 provides a framework for a holistic, strategic approach to the organization's environmental policy, plans, and actions, and also addresses environmental regulatory compliance. R2:2008 provides a framework for the establishment and use of an Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System (EHSMS), as well as policies for managing used and end-of-life electronic equipment that is based on a "reuse, recover, dispose" hierarchy of responsible management strategies. The standard also calls for compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety legal requirements and that the recycler shall only export equipment and components containing Focus Materials (FMs) to countries that legally accept them. Founded in 1996, Southeastern Data is a Central Florida-based company that specializes in helping local, national, and international organizations manage their electronic waste through responsible and cost-effective recycling and remarketing. Southeastern Data is an EPA registered and Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) licensed and approved recycling company.

The main reason to use Southeastern Data is for their flexibility in timing. They picked up the electronics as soon as I needed it. They were reasonably priced. Evrything they promised, they delivered on.
