  Child custody and visitation can be very difficult for all parties involved. An experienced attorney is always an advantage. For each case, once all the facts are determined and parties have acknowledged the legal concepts applicable to their case, Family Law meditations may take place to attempt to resolve all issues. There are unusual circumstances where some cases are not suited for mediation and are generally recognized by the Court upon Motion. Cases that involved spousal abuse, child abuse or serious child custody issues may be mediated depending on circumstances.

In a paternity case, the father is able to obtain parental rights and visitation is arranged, normally this is all resoved in a mediation setting without having to go into a courtroom! In divorce cases, a mediation is often able to resolve many of the issues that the parties are unable to come to an agreement about on their own.   Shanna Rose is a former Assistant State Attorney in the 18th Judicial Circuit of Florida. She has represented the state of Florida in felony and misdemeanor cases in Orange and Seminole counties. Ms. Rose has had numerous jury trials before the circuit and county judges and has insight into the thinking and mindset of the prosecutor’s office, having prosecuted for the very people that are prosecuting you. Ms. Rose handles a wide range of felony and misdemeanor cases. She attended Nova Southeastern Law School and is originally from the Tarpon Springs area.
