After researching about low-growing clover that does NOT bloom, we decided to go with it. We went to Greg's nursery and ordered our seed. I stressed - more than once - how bee allergic my husband is so we CANNOT have flowering clover. I also stressed we want low growing clover, up to 3-4" tall, so we won't have to mow. (My brother has 2 neighbors in Alaska that have this and it is great!) The owner's son-in-law said, "We know exactly what you want - you're gonna love it!" 2 weeks later, we picked up our huge, generically packaged order of clover seed. We were told Greg, himself, ordered it for us. We planted our ENTIRE lawn ----- we're devastated. The clover grows over a foot tall and is COVERED in blossoms; crawling with bees every day that is not raining. My bee-allergic husband isn't safe walking across our lawn. Nobody we hire wants to mow it because of bee attacks. We are disabled and can't dig it up or afford to have it redone. Greg's Gardens sucks!
