Founded in 1977, Indian Peaks Elementary School is an educational institution that provides learning opportunities to more than 250 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. It offers classes in math, science, foreign languages and engineering. The school also provides before- and after-schoo programs. Indian Peaks Elementary School operates a parent-teacher organization and offers Bilingual instruction classes. It also provides gifted and talented education opportunities. Located in Longmont, Colo., Indian Peaks Elementary School is a part of the St. Vrain Valley School District, which serves over 20,000 students through charter, elementary, middle and high schools. The district s schools operate student assistance, communication, planning, risk management and transportation departments. The St. Vrain Valley School District also operates the Career Development Center, which is a career and technical education school.
