With more than 25 years of experience in developing and applying electric power systems to advanced vehicles, UQM Technologies is a world recognized technology leader in the development and manufacture of high performance, power dense and energy efficient electric motors, generators and power electronic controllers. A major emphasis of the company is developing electric power systems for battery electric, hybrid electric and fuel cell electric vehicles, 42-volt under-the-hood power accessories and other vehicle auxiliaries and distributed power generation. The company operates its business in two segments. The first segment is technology, which encompasses the further advancement and application of its proprietary motors, generators, power electronics and software. The second segment is power products, which encompasses the manufacture of motors and generators. UQM Technologies is located in Frederick, Colo.
