I recently purchased what was advertised as an unlocked phone from L2D2. Soon after, while traveling, I discovered that the phone was in fact locked and could not use it. I contacted customer service and they apologized and promised to send the unlock code within 24 hours... it's been over a week with no results whatsoever. I am deeply disappointed with L2D2 and will never purchase any product from them again, nor will I recommend anyone else to do so. The product was misleadingly advertised--I purchased it precisely because it was supposed to be unlocked--and they never lived up to their promise to resolve the problem in spite of continued communications with customer service. I only received the same apologetic response time and time again with no real progress in rectifying the situation (let alone within 24 hours, as originally promised). Unfortunately, L2D2 left me with an unusable phone when I needed it the most. Just an awful experience altogether.
