First impression, I liked their speediness to get things done along with their friendliness. As per the talk around town I ordered the Shrimp Po-Boy not dressed. Not dressed meaning no lettuce, no mayo, etc. Anyway for $7.75 I got at least a lb of shrimp on a 9 inch roll, (see picture). The shrimp was de-lish as Rachael Ray would say. The bread it came on however was something to complain about. It was soft but was very chewy. Couldn't tell if it had been microwaved or that there was too much gluten in the dough when it was made or maybe the dough was mixed too long. Not sure. But I'm willing to try em' again to see if the problem corrected itself.

I can not agree at all with Big Red. The Harbor View Cafe' NEVER skimps on quality OR quantity. I get a salad to take back to my office atleast four times a week. I would notice if the lettuce was iceberg & not romaine. As far as cutting back on their portions, that is just ridiculous. This is a great place & all of the Mississippi Gulf Coast knows it.

When I first moved down here in February, I really enjoyed eating at Harbor View. Unfortunately, they decided to save money and have cut their portions, substituted lower quality items (i.e. Iceburg lettuce instead of Romain) and raised their prices. You cannot do both and expect to keep customers....
