      Melinda McCoy has outdone herself again!! My sister, who lives in Pennsylvania, always sends our mother a May Day bouquet. Mom is 99 years old and Melinda knows she likes Peonies. Today a gorgeous arrangement arrived for her with 5 peonies, 5 beautiful yellow roses, swags of purple lilacs, (her second favorite flower) white tulips, white hydrangeas, bells of Ireland and lots of beautiful green filler. The peonies are still big pink buds. But, since Melinda ordered them for Mother's day, they will be open by then when the other flowers have seen their best days. Then she will have the peonies all to themselves. A perfect choice, Melinda!! The whole family is thrilled once again by your thoughtfulness. (Last year you sent her a separate vase of Peonies at no charge because you didn't have any on May Day... ) We remember.
