The Long Beach Regional Occupational Program is a part of the Beach Unified School District that provides specialized job training through several programs. It serves the needs of the residents and business es of Lakewood, Signal Hill, Avalon and Long Beach, Calif. The program provides high-quality job training courses to high school students and adults for full- and part-time employment. The Long Beach Regional Occupational Program also offers counseling and community-based training programs. It provides courses in cosmetology, animal care, food services, medical care and nursing assistance. The program serves various high schools, including Lakewood High School, Millikan High School and Jordan High School in Long Beach, Calif.
