Dr. Keith Hurvitz is a native of Southern California. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and graduated with honors. He then moved across town to complete his medical education at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Medicine. He graduated from medical school with Highest Distinction at the top of his class and earned the coveted Deans Scholar award.Rhinoplasty (corrective nasal surgery) is perhaps one of the most challenging of all plastic surgery procedures. It not only requires an in depth understanding and appreciation of aesthetics but also of maintaining or improving proper nasal function. Loss of the ability to properly breathe through the nose after cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery can be devastating for a patient. Proper knowledge of nasal airway dynamics and physiology is paramount for any rhinoplasty surgeon.As both a board certified Plastic Surgeon and board certified Ear, Nose, Throat surgeon, Dr. Hurvitz has become one of southern Californias premiere rhinoplasty surgeons. Since completing his 8 years of dual surgical training in 2007, he has been delivering this concept of complete nasal surgery to his patients.
