General Info

Dr. Bertelsen grew up in New Jersey and attended Columbia University in New York City where she was a four-year varsity swimmer and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Biology. She attended medical school at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and graduated with Dean’s Recognition. She remained in Los Angeles for residency training in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, also at the University of Southern California. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Laryngology, specializing in voice, airway, and swallowing disorders, at the Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. She is excited to return to sunny southern California to join the team at Southern California Ear, Nose and Throat.
