They give u one price on the phone then they add 200 dollars when u get there dr powell is good ,, the assistants are not sure of the use of computers. ?.lost my xray and charged me for a new one ...they just lost 4 family members due to this .

I was very upset that my daughter was given a treatment plan that stated "resin" fillings and the staff is completely aware that my dental insurance does not pay for those. The estimated amount for the dental insurance was based on amalgam fillings but the treatment plan planly stated "resin". When the dental insurance only paid a small portion of the charges.....we got stuck with the rest. My 23 year old daughter had no idea about the difference in amalgam and resin and it was never explained to her. They say they told her that they didn't do amalgam unless the patient requested but what patient, who had never dealt with this type of procedure, would know the difference. I feel that they took advantage of her lack of knowledge. My husband and I had been patients there for years and we never had charges like my daughter had. They lost 3 good patients by not being upfront and giving the patient the information needed to make an informed decision!!!!!

I was very impressed with the up to date equipment, the knowledge of the staff, the willingness of the staff to assist you and the time the back staff spent with you not only to do the treatment but also to explain in detail the cavities, alternatives, and what my insurance would pay. They are a little higher than my dentist before, but I believe good treatment is worth the money. Quincie Owens

This is the most friendly, helpful, and reasonable dental office on the planet. Dr. McGeorge is wonderful with children.
