If you are looking to sell some gold or silver this is the place to go. From the minute you walk in you are greeted by the nice guy and his friendly dog "Mackizzle". First class customer service.
Not what you'd expect. Completely professional and very friendly atmosphere. You're greeted by Mackizzie who is an adorable and friendly dog, then Tim who is completely professional, honest and super helpful. I had no idea what I was doing and he walked me through the process. The rates for the going gold, silver and platinum prices are right as you walk in so there are no questions and you feel totally at ease. I expected a "pawn shop" look and feel but couldn't have been farther from that. Cannot say enough good things about Tim and his store.
Def best price in town, no doubt the fairest guy around here. Me and my wallet are VERY satisfied with experience here, BCGB rocks!
I always imagine that walking into a place to sell gold would be shady and more like a pawn shop. Fearing that I would be taking advantage of financially, I hesitated. But I had read the review for Bergen County Gold Buyers and thought I'd give it a chance. I was so surprised that when I walked in, I felt really comfortable, even offered me a cup of coffee! I didn’t need an appointment, and he was able to accommodate my inquiry just after a short wait. He was honest, explained what he was looking for, and gave me an amazing price for my old jewelry. It was safe, easy, quick, and I felt that is was VERY fair. I recommend this to anyone thinking about selling their gold. This IS the place to go.
These guys helped me out huge today. I handed them a handful of gold and silver jewelry, and they were super helpful in making me understand what was junk and what was really worth something. I will definitely be coming back here when I'm strapped for cash in the future.
Best service I have received in awhile. Tim was extremely helpful, courteous, and prompt. I came in yesterday and he inspected each piece carefully, separating the valuable from the junk. I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised at how much was actually real because most of it was handed down to me from my grandmother. AND I was paid far more than the other offers had been. Very nice individual and easy to work with. I would not hesitate to do business with him again given the opportunity. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of these services.
I have done business with BCGB on several occassions now. And I have been satisfied every time. I am a very sceptical and critical consumer who has to see it to believe it; Tim really showed me. I had no idea how involved coin collecting really was. When I inherited my Nanas coins, I did not know what to do with them or how to even begin. It only took me about 3 hours of research and one telephone call to Tim to find the answers I was looking for. When I brought my silver coins in to him he seemed very knowledgeable about the coin collecting business and gave me top dollar for the coins that I decided to cash in today. I just lost my job a couple weeks ago, and at first I wasn’t sure how I was going to afford to live being that my job hunt has since been unsuccessful. Fortunately over the years I’ve invested in a coin collection, more so for security than for numismatic purposes. And I gotta tell ya, all that saving is finally paying off. When I realized that Bergen County Gold Buyers was so close to my home in Lodi, I had to check them out. And so I went in today, they were very friendly and very knowledgeable. They checked out my collection and I ended up cashing in some of it and I’m very satisfied with the result$$$! I plan on coming back here at least once a week to keep a steady revenue for myself because I know I can trust these guys to give me the best price for my silver coins.
I cleaned out some stuff cluttering my jewelry box that I never wear and probably never will. This place is convenient to where I work so I dropped in while at lunch. There was a short wait, no big deal. I had a pretty good idea on what I should get for it so I was happy Tim didn't low ball me. He was very professional and explained everything about how they assess the jewelry and make a determination for an offer. I would recommend this place to anyone that is in a pinch for cash or just wants to get rid of some old jewelry.
