General Info
J.McLaughlin's Locust Valley store is situated along the North Shore of Long Island on Forest Avenue. Locust Valley is a quaint community of shops and restaurants in the town of Oyster Bay, but don't let this seemingly small area fool you, there is so much to do and see. Take advantage of unique gifts, jewelry, toys, books, art, antiques, and so much more. J.Mclaughlin is a few doors down from Buckram Stables, which is known for its "Stabilizer," the best burger in town and a local favorite. Some other notable landmarks include the Planting Fields Arboretum, Baileys Arboretum, and Japanese Stroll Garden. In addition, be sure to check out Sagamore Hill (Theodore Roosevelt's Long Island home between 1885 and 1919), which is now preserved as a historic site for all the world to see. The looks of J.McLaughlin are classic and fun, making them the perfect match for diving into everything the Locust Valley lifestyle has to offer. We are also one biggest supporters of the Locust Valley Chamber of Commerce, so don't miss out on exciting community events like sidewalk sales, art walks, Harvest Festival, and the annual Lighting of the Village Holiday Tree.
