First off let me just remind people that it is "LOCKHART, TEXAS" and they're known for BBQ and not fancy hotels. That being said, for the price, the hotel was great (and I am a hotel snob). The room was very clean (even smelling a tinge of bleach was a nice aroma), the bed was comfortable, the air worked (a little too well), and it was quiet. You are also right across the street from one of the BBQ stops on the tour, and you have a gas station across the street, and liquor store less than a mile away (which is good because not a lot of places serve liquor there). I met with the owner Archie, who was very accommodating when the room I booked through expedia wasn't available. She was so very sweet and kind and took care of us. Out of any hotels in Lockhart, this is the place I will stay for my return to BBQ Land!

Nice and clean room and a very reasonable price for a Friday $55. We came to Lockhart after a long road trip and stayed the night. My judge of a hotel is the shower head. There was great water pressure. I'm happy. The beds are comfortable and there was a new flat screen HD tv in the room. If you're in town and looking for a place to stay look here first.
The hotel is older, but the lady at the desk was friendly and informative of what was in town.

We stayed here while hurricane Harvey was going on! We went here just to eat BBQ food! I think he was the owner of the building and I don't know his name, but he was there everyday at the reception desk and was soooo friendly & welcoming! It made our stay! Everything was clean & had great appliances in the room, kitchen, microwave! I would recommend this place 100% only unfortunate thing for us was the rain! But that didn't stop us!!! Thank you :)
