- Garage Door Repair/ReplacementStorm related property damage is considered a "not at fault" claim. You cannot be singled out for a rate increase because your property was in the path of a severe storm. This is much different from a claim resulting from you running your car through the garage door, or you setting your kitchen on fire. That type of claim will generally result in a rate increase at policy renewal time. The State Insurance Commissioner can approve a rate increase for all homeowner policies statewide as a result of the losses, however this rarely happens after a hailstorm.
- Residential Roof RepairI want to personally thank Nick Powell for my new roof. Without him there would be no roof. His knowledge of the insurance rules made me feel comfortable about filing a claim. He showed me the damage, and explained the procedures for replacing my roof. This is a very steep roof that had four layers of roofing, including the original wood shingles. They installed new plywood on the entire roof before putting down the new shingles. All four layers were gone, the beautiful new roof in place, and the yard was completely cleaned, the porch had been swept, and all the trash from the roof was gone. Best of all now I have a beautiful roof that I am so proud of. I would highly reccomend On the House Roof Company to anyone who is in need of a new roof, and would call them for my next roof. Sincerely, with great appreciation
