Dr. Elias founded IMNA in 2005 as a practice devoted to improving the health of his community- a goal which he works towards in his role as Health Officer for Polk County, an office he has held since 2005. Dr. Kanaanâ??s dedication to his patients has also enabled him to previously serve as Chief of Staff at Memorial Medical Center, as well as Chief of Medicine at both Memorial Medical Center and Cleveland Regional Hospital. As a primary care physician, Dr. Kanaan acts as the gatekeeper of his patientsâ?? health and dedicates himself to their overall well-being. By taking the time to get to know everyone who visits his office, Dr. Kanaan is able treat the person as a whole and not simply the disease or concern that is affecting them.
