Assay Technology also provides analytical laboratory services and monitors to sample for more than 223 Occupational Safety and Health Administration-regulated chemicals. In February 2004, the company acquired the respirator cartridge and canister test facility of Miller-Nelson Research of Monterey, Calif. his acquisition positions Assay Technology to assume a position as one of the leading independent laboratories for the evaluation of cartridges and canisters used in air-purifying respirators.
