This center started off with so much potential, but as time goes by, I am terribly disappointed with the staff and management alike. My children have had multiple teachers, no one stays, and no one explains where the teachers go or who replaces them. I am afraid that owners, while nice, really disrespect their staff. The staff while kind, never seem to stay for very long. My child has had NUMEROUS teachers in and out of her room. Having worked in child care, if staff are leaving in droves- something is wrong with the ownership/ manage- ment. Attaching to a teacher, and then to lose them is hard on your child. My suggestion is to find a center with some better leadership and stability.

This child care center is terrible. I came forward during our initial enrollment interview with full disclosure about my three-year-old son's mental and physical disabilities. I was assured that the owners had a child of their own with similar disabilities and "they know how to handle it". Their version of "handling" a sensory overload resulting in a tantrum was to put him in a baby crib in a dark room and deny him food, medication and bathroom privileges. Their advice to "get my son in line" was "spank him and tighten the reins until he learns". I will never recommend this center to another family.

Best child care we have had. Director actually took the time to work with my sons problems instead of just kicking him out, very competitive pricing, happy employee and great facility, I can't say enough good things about this place. They took pride in what they r doing and I see teachers loves on every kid even if sometimes that r just feeling a little homesick. I'm relived to leave my son in a place where I know if he's sAd a teacher will pick him up and sooth him instead of being overwhelmed by all the kids and ignore him. They have a 5:1 ratio in my sons class and it has been great!

We chose this center for its reasonable pricing and have since come to know the staff ver well. This is a loving center that gives my child a lot of attention. At the end of each day I am given a written and verbal review that gives me the peace of mind that my child is being well cared for. -wrheffelfinger

Small World Learning Center is a wonderful child care center. It has a great family atmosphere to it and wonderful teachers that truly love all of the children.
