Terry Elementary School enrolls more than 600 students in prekindergarten through grade five and is a part of the Little Rock School District. The school provides after-school intervention and gifted and talented education programs. It features a media center that maintains a collection of educational software, reference materials, and over 10,000 fiction and nonfiction books. Terry Elementary School provides special education for students with special needs. It operates a parent-teacher association that encourages parental involvement in children s education and sponsors various fundraising events and activities. Terry Elementary School provides the English as a Second Language program. In addition, it publishes a monthly newsletter that provides information about the school s upcoming events.
