- UltrasoundSurgery has always been an option for facial aging and rejuvenation. But now there’s ULTHERAPY, a non-surgical ultrasound treatment for counteracting the effects of time and gravity on your skin. The benefit of this 60-90 minute treatment is that it uses your body’s own regenerative response to gently and gradually restore the skin’s memory and underlying tissues.

- Reconstructive SurgeryAfter a mastectomy, reconstructive surgery of the breast can create a new breast to replace one that has been removed.
- BotoxBotox and Dysport Cosmetics are popular injections used to weaken the muscles causing wrinkles. Injections can prevent you from deepening your lines as you create your natural facial expressions. They are also known to erase marks of aging, leaving you looking younger and more refreshed.
- Brow LiftA brow lift begins with an in-person evaluation of the brow, hairline, and eyes. Our experienced cosmetic surgeons assess the skin and muscles of the upper face as well as the eyes to develop a tailored surgical treatment plan. On the day of surgery, the patient undergoes general anesthesia and we perform the customized brow lift procedure. If a traditional brow lift is necessary, there will be excess skin excised and removable sutures utilized. In the endoscopic approach, the tension is transmitted through the hair-bearing scalp and there is no need for large incisions.
- Eyelid SurgeryEyelid surgery is an outpatient procedure and is performed under general anesthesia for your comfort and safety. Your surgeon will make an incision in the natural crease of the upper eyelid or on the inner lining of the lower lid and remove the herniated fat and/or excess eyelid skin. Lower eyelid surgery incisions are hidden behind the lid so there is no external scar. They may also contour the skin and fat around your eye to make it more shaped and toned. The incision is then closed with small sutures used for healing. The whole process takes about 1-2 hours.
- LiposuctionDuring your 45-minute treatment sessions, you will experience a warming sensation in the areas on which you are focusing. Multiple areas can be treated in the same setting, including the tummy, arms, thighs, and knees. After the treatment, your skin will feel tighter and have a natural glow to it. TempSure Firm may also be used in conjunction with liposuction or CoolSculpting to treat skin laxity after fat removal. When combined with CoolSculpting, we alternate the TempSure and CoolSculpt every two weeks. TempSure Firm is a comfortable and even relaxing skin tightening treatment that can help you achieve the results you’re looking for! Consultations are required.

- Breast ReductionI came to Dr Bauer to have a breast reduction. The first time I came in they answered all my questions and he immediately got to the point. They handled everything with insurance and they kept me well informed the whole time. I had surgery a couple weeks later and today came in for a follow up 6 days PO. The nurse who took my stitches out was so professional and friendly and did it with such ease! I'll highly recommend Dr Bauer and his team!
- Breast LiftThe human body goes through many changes during every stage of life. For women, the changes in the appearance of their breast can be a significant factor in their self esteem and the way they present themselves to the world. If the effects of aging, changes in weight, or the normal effects of gravity has changed your breasts in such a way that you are not happy with them, a breast lift might be the solution for you.
- RhinoplastyRhinoplasty, sometimes called a “nose job,” addresses aesthetic and functional issues with the framework of the external nose, such as nasal tip definition, prominent nasal hump, wide nasal profile, breathing difficulties, and more.
- Breast ReconstructionImplant-based breast reconstruction is the most commonly used reconstruction technique after mastectomy. Prepectoral breast reconstruction is a method of implant-based reconstruction that places the device immediately under the skin. As opposed to traditional implant reconstruction, no muscles are elevated and a full reconstruction can often be achieved at the time of mastectomy.
- Plastic SurgeryNo matter what type of plastic surgery you are considering, one of the most important factors in having a successful outcome is choosing the right surgeon. Almost everyone has heard that they should look for “board certification” when seeking a qualified plastic surgeon (or any other physician, for that matter). Most people don’t really understand exactly what this means and what is involved in becoming “board certified.” Although it may be hard to believe, some of the physicians who are performing plastic surgery today have had no formal surgical training at all.
- Thigh LiftThe results of a thigh lift are visible almost immediately. However, it may take several months for the final results to fully develop.
- Face LiftA facial rhytidectomy, or facelift, is a surgical procedure that tightens the skin and supporting tissues of the face and neck. A facelift does not change your fundamental appearance but does allow a more youthful appearance to be restored as a result of facial aging. A facelift can only be performed surgically; non-surgical rejuvenation treatments cannot achieve the same results but may help delay the time of which a facelift becomes appropriate and complement the results of surgery.
- Neck LiftA neck lift is performed when the lower neck has loose skin and/or subcutaneous tissue. Every patient is unique, and treatment is tailored to each individual. A neck lift could entail simply tightening the skin, the removal of excess fat, or the repair/manipulation of the superficial muscle (platysma) of the neck.
- BlepharoplastyA good candidate for blepharoplasty is a nonsmoker who is of good health, does not have serious eye conditions, and wants to improve the signs of aging around the eyes, such as dark, puffy bags under the eye, loose skin and fat, and drooping lids. Ideally, we want you to be able to avoid blood-thinning medication for at least two weeks prior to the procedure.
- AbdominoplastyTummy tuck surgery trims, flattens, and firms a bulging abdomen by removing excess skin and fat and by tightening loose abdominal muscles. Through abdominoplasty surgery, you will gain a flatter, more contoured and visually satisfying abdomen with tightened abdominal muscles.

- Body ContouringBody contouring is often performed in stages. Your particular condition and goals, as well as your plastic surgeon’s best judgment, will all influence how your doctor defines a surgical plan. While it may have taken you two years or more to lose all the excess weight, it may take equally as long for the results of your body contouring to be complete.

- Cosmetic SurgeryMost health insurance policies usually do not cover cosmetic surgery or complications from cosmetic surgery. However, many policies have exceptions for complications from breast implants under certain circumstances that they consider “medically necessary” or “reconstructive surgery.”
- Forehead LiftA brow lift is beneficial in patients that have excessive and deep forehead wrinkles or brow line hair that has descended below the upper rim of the eye. This procedure is oftentimes referred to as a forehead lift in general parlance. This procedure was historically done through large incisions around hair-bearing areas of the upper face, but in certain patient populations, a minimally invasive (endoscopic) approach using several small incisions hidden in the hairline can make this procedure inconspicuous. The endoscopic approach uses a small camera to facilitate precise dissection through incisions placed in the hair-bearing scalp to achieve the same outcome as traditional brow lifts but significantly fewer scars.
