Formed in 1974, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas is a locally funded and operated nonprofit organization. Based in Little Rock, Ark., it is dedicated on enhancing the lives of children and their families by creating/supporting programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. These needs include guidance on how families can stay near and support a hospitalized child; to afford staying together in another city while a child is undergoing treatment; and providing solutions on how a child can receive basic dental care in an underserved community.
