Centers For Youth & Families in Little Rock is an affiliate of a national nonprofit organization that provides youth with emergency services, community support services and school-based mental/health services. Through its parent center, Centers for Youth and Families offers workshops and seminars for a wide range of participants including: single, divorced, step, grand and foster parents; teen parents; incarcerated mothers and their families; and child care providers. Culturally sensitive programs addressing the needs of today's parents and families are offered in the home, schools, community and work place. Its residential programs provide intensive psychiatric help for children and youth with serious emotional or behavioral problems that have had no success with treatment in a less restrictive setting. Among its other services are: a therapeutic foster care; a youth emergency shelter; a therapeutic transitional living center; and a dyslexia center.
