Susan Conde has cut my husband's hair for years. After several misadventures with other stylists and salons, I booked an appointment with her several years ago and have been pleased with her service ever since. She is mature, listens carefully to the client's ideas, offers good advice, and is very skilled as a stylist. I highly recommend Susan and the salon.

This is never going to be a salon that I would refer anyone to, unless it is my enemy. I made an appointment to go to this salon, and was handed off from one supposed stylist to another. These people are very unprofessional and immature regarding how they handle customer service which they apparently know nothing of. I was to take my son in to this salon for his very first haircut, i communicated numerous times with these people, set up the appointment for 4 oclock on Friday the 20th of July. My son was in route from his daycare when I went down to let them know that we would be there earlier than planned, hoping they could get us in and out. I was advised that the original person that was to trim his hair needed to make a run to west little rock and that she would be back in a hurry, but that if she didnt make it on time there was a back up plan to have another stylist to trim his hair. As he was being dropped off to me i received a call from the back up person who stated that "she wasnt qualified to cut my son's hair and that if she did cut his hair it would likely be an awful hair cut" the person got off hte phone quickly. At the time that I was on the phone with this person i was walking into the building where this salon is located, and by the time I reached their location, the lights were off and the doors were closed. At the time i was looking to get referred to a different salon, but naturally that wasnt going to happen.This is one of the worst experiences in customer service I've ever dealt with and it frustrates me because I then had to drag my son back out into the heat to go drive around making calls in an attempt to get his hair trimmed. Thumbs down to the lack of competence and professionalism shown by this salon and its immature staff. Again I would never ever refer anyone to go to this location to get the run around that I did.

by design is a great salon...They have recently updated it. Cassy is now the owner and taking the salon to new levels. They added two new stylists to the team. Desiree is one of the new girls and she is great at cuts and color. My haircut has never looked better! Cassy has been doing my acrylic nails for a couple years...She is the best!

I've been using By Design for years. They are conveniently located in the Metropolitan Tower. I use Lynnette for color and Cassy for manicures and pedicures. Both have years of experience and they are good at what they do. I've found all of their services to be top notch and the entire staff is friendly and customer focused.

great people, great haircut

One of the best salons in Little Rock ... located in downtown Little Rock in the Metropolitan Bank Tower 1st floor ... Lynette, the owner, is excellent ... Missy does manicures, pedicures, facials,etc ... Susan has been with the salon for many years and her customers speak highly of her as well ... reasonable prices, nice location, & great people ... without a doubt this is the best salon in Little Rock.
