Established in 1986, Mikouis Enterprises, doing business as Sunrise Homes provides health care services to more than 20 individuals with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. It offers several nursing care services, such as medical care, nutrition, consulting therapies, habilitation programs, pet therapy, and recreational and social activities. The organization also provides on-site, bimonthly medical consultation, including dental and podiatry assessment. Additionally, it organizes a range of community outings and events, such as annual Christmas parties, family picnics, sports banquet and spring dances.
