Lindenhurst Middle School provides educational services to more than 1,800 students in grades six through eight. The school conducts classes in English, math, science and social studies. It offers French, German, Italian and Spanish as foreign languages. It provides special education to gifted and talented students. Lindenhurst Middle School also offers speech, language, physical and occupational therapies to students with learning disabilities. The school s range of extracurricular activities includes art, music, dance, drama, and technical and physical education. It features an orchestra, band and chorus. In addition, the school offers the English as a Second Language program. It provides food, guidance counseling and health care. The school also has a parent-teacher association that conducts fundraising events and special programs. Located in Lindenhurst, N.Y., Lindenhurst Middle School is a part of Lindenhurst Public Schools.
