Xenogenics Corporation is a subsidiary of MultiCell Technologies. The company conducts research and development activities in the area of liver disease. It has developed the Sybiol synthetic bio-liver device that supports patients waiting for liver transplants and patients suffering from liver disease caused by hepatitis, alcoholism, cancer and liver trauma. MultiCell Technologies develops drug development technologies to treat diseases, such as chronic fatigue, multiple sclerosis, Type-1 diabetes and infectious diseases. It also produces immortalized human hepatocyte cell lines for the pharmaceutical industry to develop new drugs and therapeutics. Xenogenics Corporation is located in Lincoln, R.I.
