Unprofessional- I will be going to Octaphatma. An employee incorrectly entered my SSN and when I came back, I needed a CDC check to see if I have been to other centers. I have come here for 3 consecutive days and could not donate because the management has not been able to check the other centers. That's 3 days of driving 20 minutes and wasting time and gas.I'm glad I have a job and I'm not depending on the money, however, it's frustrating to be given wrong information or lied to about when you need to come in resulting in not being able to donate. BTW, Phil was helpful/ Deon was not- both are supervisors.
They are nice and fast but not very consistant with your vitals as far as rejecting you. I went three days in a row and was rejected for my blood pressure. The second day my pressure top# was 147 they said it was too high. The third day it was 140 something they said it was fine but my pulse was too high. They need to post a set of rules that donors can see so they can't just reject you off their personal preferences. One person says your ok but you see another person the next day its not but its the same blood pressure rate basically. Its confusing and annoying. You start to think their being funny.
i was sent home three times in a row for everything from chewing gum, to having a red mark on my arm from carrying boxes earlier that day.staff isnt very knowledgable, every question i asked they had to pull out a training sheet to give me an answer. i wont be donating there again
