Provided by YP.comThis middle school is across the street from my home. There is a wonderful park surrounding the school and it is very welcoming. Yesterday, our cat got outside and although we looked all night; we cannot find him.
I called the school this morning to ask if we can put up flyers we made at the school and park. The woman who answered the phone was so compassionate as I cried while explaining our situation. She quickly asked the principal if it was okay and when she came back she, her compassion still was so evident. She said to bring some flyers over and they would allow them to be posted.
She gave me hope by saying that the kids are really good about coming to them about animals. This made the hope come back into my spirit. We have not lived here very long but I can tell you that no school where we are from would EVER be so accommodating and compassionate.
My son is in high school but if I had a child in middle school, Pound Middle School is where I would insist he go. That kind of compassion for others is rare in this day and age but the nice lady gave me hope that I was steadily losing. So, thanks to all of them. If they are as concerned about animals then surely their dedication to the children they serve that attend their school must be impeccable
With utmost respect and admiration,
