- Oil ChangeEngine oil is made up of a complex formula of additives designed to reduce wear on all moving parts. By going too long between oil changes these additives are used up and combined with dirt can form sludge reducing the ability for the oil to lubricate properly resulting in major engine damage. Changing the oil and filter on time will prevent this. The owner’s manual will tell you the proper oil to use in your engine. Any major brand of oil is good oil as long as it is changed at regular intervals.

- Suspension Service/RepairAs the seasons change and with it warmer or cooler temperatures, the air pressure in your tires need to be adjusted accordingly. Running tires low on air can cause excessive heat to build and the tire may blow out. Tires should be checked every month if possible but at least every 3 months. We inflate tires to the proper pressure when any suspension repair or alignment is performed but also at regular maintenance schedules.

- Belts and Hoses ServiceYour car has one or more belts that drive the accessories such as alternator, power steering pump, water pump and air conditioning compressor. Over time these belts wear and can break if not inspected at regular intervals. Older cars may have v-belts but most newer cars have a single poly-v belt, sometimes called a serpentine belt, that drive all the accessories. We prefer to use a visual inspection of your belts to determine when to replace them, however most will require replacement at every 50,000 to 60,000 miles. If a belt breaks the alternator will stop charging the battery, you will loose your power steering and engine overheating may result because the water pump is not operating.
