Independence House provides residential living in a family-style setting with the comfort of home for the people with memory loss. Located in Lincoln, Neb., the house offers daily activities and develops individual care plans for the residents. It also organizes a series of group activities which include cooking, sing-a-longs, game time, gardening and outdoor excursions. Additionally, Independence House offers day and respite services, allowing and encouraging caregivers to work and care for other family members.
