- ApicoectomyAlthough there are many surgical procedures that can be performed to save a tooth, the most common is called apicoectomy or root-end resection. When inflammation or infection persists in the bony area around the end of your tooth after a root canal procedure, your endodontist may have to perform an apicoectomy.

- Maxillofacial SurgeryDr. McConnell is a native Nebraskan born in Grand Island. He attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and obtained his Bachelor’s degree in 1998. In 2002 he graduated with distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. He then completed a one year oral and maxillofacial surgery internship at Nebraska before moving to St. Louis for private practice.
