HWS Consulting Group was founded in 1944 as a small municipal engineering firm. Since its establishment, the company has since expanded into a regional engineering practice. It consists of a diverse group of civil, environmental, geotechnical and transportation engineers, as well as geology, hydrogeology and environmental science professionals. HWS Consulting Group offers a broad range of transportation planning and engineering services for airports, highways, railroads and streets. Its geotechnical engineering and engineering geology services include soil and foundation engineering, pavement design and earth structure design. Civil engineering services include land development services for commercial and industrial projects, topographic and legal surveys, hydraulic design, permitting services, construction administration, route study and corridor analysis for transportation projects. Headquartered in Lincoln, Neb., HWS Consulting Group serves clients throughout the United States from offices in Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois and Colorado.
