Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois is a nonprofit organization that has been serving low-income families since 1966. The organization administers federal, state and local programs in order to provide necessary services to low-income and senior individuals in central Illinois. Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois serves DeWitt, Mason, Menard, Fulton, Logan and Piatt counties in Illinois. It maintains several Head Start sites and outreach offices and employs more than 150 staff members. The organization also provides weatherization, community and utility assistance services to citizens. Additionally, Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois offers educational and health services to children of low-income families.
