Being one of the largest bookstores in the Northwest, they have an incredible selection. I met a couple there who come from Germany each year just to go to Robert's Bookshop. Walking in there you can't imagine how they could keep track of it all without a computer, but you ask about a book and they can take you right to it. They just had their 20th anniversary this year and with good reason. They have many esoteric and rare volumes behind the counter and a good selection of, well, everything. They now take up 2 buildings on the block and every nook and cranny (including, I've discovered, the spaces under the stairs and around their water heater) is filled with books. Also, the pay a FAIR price for the books they buy. There is one man who apparently comes all the way from Florida every year just to sell his books there. They are known for being fair and honest and that may be the best recommendation there is. Stop in and you'll definitely be glad you discovered them!
