Probably the biggest casio in northern california. The inside is very beautiful they have a waterfall going right by the bar area. There is a huge selection of different slot machines, poker, blackjack, and much more. The hotel is very big as well and the friendly staff knows how to treat their guests. This is the most fun that I have had at any casino in Nor Cali. Thanks Thunder Valley Casino.
Easy parking and entry is one of the finer points of this casino. The food is good; the buffet line is a joke. Regardless of the size of the line you will wait while the slow, disorganized employees fumble around. If the line is long you are given a ticket with a time to return. When you return an hour or two later you go to the back of the line again! Most of the help is nice but again slow! The slot machines pay lower rewards than comparable machines in Nevada. The minimum table limits are ten dollars (only a couple this low) and up. Not much fun for the amatuer just learning or having a good time. There are no dice games. Unlike Nevada, you must pay for alcohal. It is very expensive; your best buy is beer since the mixed drinks are almost virgin's. Ventalation is very good and an isolated non-smoking area is available for slot machines only. It is convenient but Nevada is more fun, you win more, has more variety, lodgeing and alternate casinos to go to. Reno is still #1
