  During this procedure, fat cells are emulsified for an easy and efficient removal process. Ultrasound technology targets and removes fatty deposits by using suction for a gentle approach.
• Radiation Therapy
  Reconstruction with Breast Implants - The use of implants to restore breast volume after a mastectomy occurs in two stages. In the first stage, Dr. Tijunelis uses what resembles a small balloon to achieve the appropriate tissue size to accommodate the implants. When tissue in the treatment area is ready for reconstruction, we perfect the finished result with permanent implants. While this reconstructive process is simpler than the flap – it doesn’t create a secondary treatment site – it is often not the recommended course of care for patients who are undergoing radiation therapy, as this may cause skin to harden and become less accommodating for implants. If patients who choose implants for reconstruction do need radiation, we can perform fat grafting treatments to soften skin that has been exposed.

  Dr. Aras Tijunelis trained as a general surgeon in Detroit. There he received extensive training in general surgery procedures with emphasis in trauma surgery. After completing a full 5 years General Surgery residency and having passed the general surgery boards, he chose to continue his education and was accepted at University of Wisconsin-Madison Plastic and Reconstructive Fellowship. While in training for plastic surgery, he flew regular missions with UW Medflight as the on-board flight surgeon. As part of his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training, he successfully completed microsurgical training courses, traveled to Ecuador and India to perform many reconstructive surgeries and did an externship in Cosmetic Surgery in Newport Beach, CA.

With our minimally-invasive technique, patients can expect scars to fade well with time.
• Breast Reduction
  Breast reduction surgery helps alleviate many symptoms like back pain, shoulder pain, hygiene issues, or self-consciousness associated with very large, heavy breasts. Although we send a letter to your insurance, we suggest you call your insurance company to see if this is coverable procedure under your policy.
• Breast Lift
  Breast Lift/Reduction - After changes in weight caused by pregnancy or the effects of breastfeeding, breast size and shape may alter. With a breast lift, however, Dr. Tijunelis can reposition skin that so your breasts appear uplifted. In the event that large breast size is causing discomfort, Dr. Tijunelis can also perform breast reductions to provide patients with a flattering and more comfortable cup size.
• Rhinoplasty
  Rhinoplasty usually involves reducing the size of the nose by removing and sculpting the nasal tissues in order to enhance the facial appearance. The results are unique to each individual, and depend upon such factors as skin condition and thickness, nasal and facial structure, genetic contributions, and age. Traditionally, a “nose job†was performed only to correct major problems, however, recent surgical innovations allow for individuals to benefit from more moderate improvements from the procedure as well. In general, having nose surgery provides the patient with a better facial balance and overall appearance.
• Breast Reconstruction
  Completion of a full breast reconstruction can take several months, or even a year, depending on your needs and recommended method of treatment. Dr. Tijunelis performs small adjustments throughout the year to ensure that the finalized result looks natural and helps meet your goals. Dr. Tijunelis often compares the breast reconstruction process to remodeling a house: the demo crew does work in a day, but builders can be working for a year to get things the way the person wants. Our reconstructive surgical process works in much the same way.

A tummy tuck is the surgical removal of excess skin and the repositioning of abdomen muscles into a tighter formation. This bodily enhancement procedure is designed for those who wish to have a flatter and tighter stomach. It will repair the vertical separation of abdomen muscles known as diastasis.
• Nose Surgery
• Body Lift
  The precise procedure varies with each patient, depending on the body type and desired surgical outcome. The body lift procedure entails making an incision that follows the upper and/or inner thigh, to the waistline. In more extensive surgeries, the incision goes completely around the waist and lower back. Adjustments to the buttocks and thighs require an incision at the crease of the buttocks and excess skin is then removed. Finally, the skin is pulled taught and sutured into the new configuration. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia.
• Breast Surgery
  Breast Revision may be necessary to correct previously performed breast surgery. This procedure can include, implant complications, implant removal, lateral implant pocket displacement, bottoming out, implant size issues, capsular contracture (hard scar tissue around the implant) or revision of the breast skin envelope.

  Otoplasty is not limited to children and may also be performed on adults. Cosmetic procedures are available for those individuals with large ears and for those with congenital (birth) irregularities.
