Liberty Elementary School is one of the largest elementary schools in Pickens County that serves more than 900 students in kindergarten through fourth grade. The school operates a library and media center that offers more than 13,000 books. It is a Title I school, and its staff includes certified teachers, staff employees, guidance counselors, assistant principals, and speech and recovery teachers. The school offers a range of programs, including after-school and accelerated reader. Its special education programs include speech, language, physical and occupational therapies. Liberty Elementary School also operates a cafeteria that serves lunch and breakfast to students. The school is a part of the School District of Pickens County.
